Simulated. The scene is computer-generated and the findings shown are the ones planted in it; no model produced them.
A drone flies beside an invented power line: six lattice towers, two circuits and an earth wire, with a row of roadside poles beside one span. Planted along it are the things a line patrol looks for: a tree grown up under the conductors, a shed built beneath them, a gap in an insulator string, a conductor hanging low, a nest on a tower, a kite caught on the earth wire, a leaning pole, and a hot clamp that shows only in the thermal view. Each one is listed by tower number or span.
What this demo shows
A patrol, written down by tower and span
- Six numbered towers, five spans and thirty-six insulator strings, counted as the drone passes.
- Eight planted findings of eight kinds, on the towers and in the spans between them.
- Where each one is: the tower or span, the circuit and the phase.
- A one-screen patrol sheet built from the same list.
What is simulated
All of it
The line, the drone, the flight and both camera views are drawn in your browser. The findings are the ones this page planted in the scene, so the list is read from the scene itself and not from the picture. No trained model runs here, and nothing on this page was tested on a real power line.
Limits to keep in mind
A picture of the job, not a result
The thermal view is a simple model: ambient temperature, plus sunlight, plus the heat we planted at one clamp. It is not a measurement. Clearances and the low conductor are the scene's own geometry, drawn larger than life so they read on a screen. There are no accuracy, speed or coverage figures here, because nothing was measured.
